Founded by Julie Polito September, a State‑Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser, Desert Eagle Appraisals has grown from a single‑employee firm to a team of professionals, including Certified Appraisers, Licensed Appraisers, and Apprentice Appraisers. Over the past decade, the firm has completed thousands of residential appraisals throughout Maricopa County, as well as select areas of Pinal and Yavapai Counties.
Our appraisers are experienced in evaluating a broad range of residential properties, encompassing all property types, sizes, and complexity levels—from small residential lots to multi‑unit properties; from new construction to historic homes; and from one‑bedroom condominiums to multimillion‑dollar custom estates.

Meet The Owner
After many years as a sales manager in the telecommunications industry, Julie transitioned her career to real estate appraisal. She completed her apprenticeship with CK Appraisals over a two-year period and founded Desert Eagle Appraisals in 2007. Since that time, she has appraised properties throughout the Phoenix Metro, continually refining her expertise and expanding her professional network. Julie has completed advanced training in the valuation of multiplex properties and complex, high-value residential real estate. In 2013, she also fulfilled the requirements to become a licensed real estate agent.
As a State-Certified Residential Appraiser, Julie has completed valuations for a wide range of property types and purposes, including single-family residences, two- to four-unit properties, condominiums, short sales, bank-owned properties, bankruptcies, land valuations, loan originations, home equity loans, asset division, refinances, tax assessments, employee relocations, and other specialized appraisal needs. She has also testified in court as an expert witness on real estate valuation matters.
Julie attributes the success of her firm to a strong work ethic and an unwavering commitment to integrity, ethics, and trust. Over the past 15 years, she has identified instances in which properties were materially overvalued or undervalued due to external pressure or insufficient analysis. Her foremost priority is delivering accurate, well-supported appraisals that safeguard her clients’ interests and provide reliable information for informed decision-making.
Julie received her degree in Arizona and has a history of serving in leadership roles on nonprofit boards, reflecting her commitment to community involvement and professional service. She resides in Fountain Hills, Arizona, with her family.
